It’s not about looking a certain way but moving, eating and living better

 

Movement and sports have always been an important aspect of my life. I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t running, jumping and playing. I knew I wanted to be a coach after benefiting from the healing effects of physical and massage therapy in 2000. Learning to move better and building strength helped me come back from an injury that was supposed to leave me unable to compete in my sport- distance running. After a few years as a personal trainer, I realized that nutrition was a big piece of the good health puzzle. I went back to school to study food science and ever since, I’ve been coaching others.

I’ve come to understand that strength and good nutrition supports deep health. It’s not about looking a certain way but moving, eating and living better. I want people to strength training to build internal as well as external strength and to eat well so they can move well.

As a certified nutrition coach, my focus is helping client’s achieve their health goals without dieting or strict rules. I offer private and group training sessions as well as nutrition coaching and a 12 month nutrition and lifestyle transformation program.
